Exceptional opportunity available for a talented Executive Chef with a Culinary degree, preferably one who has worked in a private residence. The Chef will plan and prepare meals for a small family and work as a team to facilitate special events and private parties. In addition, the Chef will need to oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including upholding proper sanitary conditions, upkeep of equipment, creating operational guidelines, and setting standards. We are looking for a true professional who has a good understanding of an executive household protocol, etiquette and table service.
We are seeking a Chef with the ability to accommodate varied tastes and dietary requirements. Flexibility with schedule and tasks, along with a positive, friendly attitude are essential ingredients for success in this role. Position requires professionalism, discretion, excellent organizational skills and computer proficiency (Microsoft Office). Previous experience as a Private Chef is strongly desired. Must be comfortable working around pets.
