Summary: As a Cashroom Manager, you will be responsible for assisting leadership with all financial duties within the operation. Duties will include operation of and reports for the Point of Sale systems, cash handling procedures, financial reporting, deposits, data entry and charges/debits. You will also be responsible for associate and client engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Ensures adequate supplies of coins and cash for all registers. *Continuously trains, supervises, and develops cashiers. *Monitors, audits, and reconciles cashiers on an on-going basis. *Prepares daily deposits, credit card and cash reports. *Maintains all cashier and office supplies. *Performs cashiering duties as business dictates. *Performs other duties as assigned.
*2 years of experience with revenue control responsibilities and cash handling in a food service environment. *Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations. *Knowledge of Point of Sale, preferably micros, cash reconciliation and credit card reports. *Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet. *Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
