Sous Chef','Full-time','Day','$14.23 Depending on Experience','Food Service','Washington-Issaquah','!*!Providence is calling a Sous Chef to Providence Marianwood in Issaquah, WA.
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to be responsible for providing seamless customer service in the area of meals/floor stock/nourishment/food preferences.
In this position you will:
Handle food according to HACCP guidelines and are aware of minimum standards for a quality food service operation.
Adhere to standard recipes and plating guidelines.
Be responsible for accuracy of all assembled meal orders, maintaining par stocks, ordering supplies and rotating product for maximum quality.
Assist in dish room (washing dishes, pots, pans, and cleaning area and restocking).
Adhere to all sanitary regulations governing the handling, storage preparation and serving of food.
Act as an effective customer service liaison to all customers and facility departments.','!*!Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or GED
Current food handler’s permit or ability to obtain prior to start date.
Two years of consistent employment in related culinary environment (prep work and/or grill work).
Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Experience preparing foods in high quantities.
T.B. test completed by start date.
