Senior Living is seeking a General Manager / Chef Manager for Tower One/Tower East in New Haven CT with all meals prepared in a certified Kosher Kitchen. A unique apartment and assisted living community located in the heart of one of New England's most historic and vital cities. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with Senior Living cooking and food service management experience to showcase your skills and grow your career. Position reports to the District Manager and manages 20 employees with responsibilities that include: financial management for 1 million in volume, inventory management, purchasing, employee training, the HACCP process, kitchen safety and sanitation, food production for meal service and catered events. Ideal candidate has: a Culinary Degree / Trade School Certificate, a Servsafe Certificate, hands on culinary and food production knowledge, computer skills to work in food and labor management systems.
