The ideal\nExecutive Chef candidate will have a proven track record in current\nculinary trends, experience with managing a large food service\noperation, food and labor cost controls, catering, food production,\nmenu planning, scheduling, great communication, client relations,\ninterpersonal and organizational skills, a strong work ethic, a\npenchant for developing high performing teams and a solid\nunderstanding of HACCP and other food safety programs. An AA degree\nin Culinary Arts is highly preferred.

POSITION\nSUMMARY:
Designs, supervises, coordinates and participates in\nactivities of cooks and other kitchen personnel in a small account.\nThis position is recognized as the technical expert, teacher and\ntrainer for other chefs and cooks within the account. Selects and\ndevelops recipes and other items for clients. Develops menu,\nimplements and trains HACCP, oversees/purchases food, establishes\nproduction levels and inventory controls, interviews and hires new\nchefs, manages/controls food cost issues and offer solutions. May cook\nselected items, and plan or price menus. Typically has chefs and cooks\nreporting to this position.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Basic\nEducation Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School\nDegree

Basic Management Experience - 1 year

Basic Functional\nExperience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services\nincluding restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services,\ninstitutional services, mall food courts, etc.
