Growing Chain seeks Traveling Kitchen Manager/Trainer!
Though we’re relatively new in the region, we’ve become incredibly popular among our loyal customers and food critics. We’ve been voted one of the top 10 restaurants in the Los Angeles area, but we’re not stopping there! With seven locations open now, we’re looking to double in size within the next 16 months and eventually open 7-10 new stores per year. We are committed to creating a new definition for classic American comfort food and change the way our guests view it.
We’re currently looking for a Restaurant Kitchen Trainer in the Los Angeles area. The trainer we’re looking for will be out in the field training our Managers and Kitchen staff on correct food preparation & menu items. In this role, the Kitchen Trainer will oversee the BOH training for New Restaurant Openings, and be involved with creating a team of certified BOH trainers.
We're looking for someone with:
2 years of experience in kitchen leadership or training capacity in the restaurant or hotel food service industry.
Minimum of 4 years kitchen experience in vegetable & sauce prep and preparation of finished menu items in grill, fry and pantry stations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able and willing to spend up to two weeks in restaurants in other cities to support restaurant openings and market visits.
Conversational Spanish a plus
