The primary function of the Sous Chef is to maintain and lead the daily functions of the kitchen while working closely with the GM to execute the required meals. The Sous Chef is responsible for Menu writing, recipe reading, hands on food prep and oversight of cooks production. The Sous Chef is also responsible for delegating, following up, and ensuring consistent and well-presented food during assigned shift. The Sous Chef is responsible for pulling recipes off a web based program, and will monitor daily the correct execution and documentation of all HACCP logs within the unit. The Sous Chef is expected to possess and present a positive and customer friendly attitude towards customers and co-workers. The Sous Chef's schedule is subject to change in order to meet the demands and requirements of the business. The Sous Chef must possess a working knowledge of computers.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School
