Plan balanced monthly menus for soup kitchen Preparation of meals according to menu Serving meals to the public Recording number of plates served on statistical sheets Will be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean which includes but is not limited to: sweeping & moping floor, cleaning dishes, keeping shelves tidy, cleaning surface areas, stove, steam tables. Will be responsible for cleaning soup kitchen dinning room which includes but is not limited to: washing tables & chairs, sweeping & mopping floor. Adhering to the policies and procedures of the Nebraska Department of Agriculture Supervising soup kitchen volunteers
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must have experience working in food preparation for mass feeding Bilingual applicants preferred Leadership skills necessary Work hours for the kitchen are from 9:00am to 2:00 pm Sunday through Thursday; 10:00am-2:00pm on Fridays.
