This is a multi-site location with Environmental\nServices, Service Response Center and Patient Transport. The\nExecutive Chef will lead a team of chefs preparing food for patients\nwith **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s At Your Request room service program. Cafeteria\nhas many different formats for customer dining. Executive Chef will\nbe involved in the multi phase kitchen and cafe renovation bringing\nnew and exciting formats to our customers. New kiosk implementation\nalso planned.
The ideal candidate will be the recognized as the\nculinary and technical expert, teacher, trainer and coach to the other\nchefs, cooks and production personal in the unit. Must have a firm\nknowledge of managing food and labor cost in this P & L (Profit and\nLoss) unit. The Executive Chef will be responsible for supervising\nand motivating employees, daily kitchen operations, menu planning,\ncatering, Production planning, purchasing and inventory control,\nrecipe compliance using the Food Management process and n with food\nand physical safety standards. Use of Lean principles are used and\nencouraged at this account.

Experience in health\ncare/hospitals/retirement community/country club/fine dining is ideal.\n Working knowledge of web based programs is needed to be\nsuccessful.

Designs, supervises, coordinates and participates in\nactivities of cooks and other kitchen personnel in a medium to large\naccount. This position is recognized as the technical expert, teacher\nand trainer for other chefs and cooks within the account. Selects and\ndevelops recipes and other items for clients. Develops menu,\nimplements and trains HACCP, oversees/purchases food, establishes\nproduction levels and inventory controls, interviews and hires new\nchefs, manages/controls food cost issues and offer solutions, may\ntrain other chefs outside account. May cook selected items, and plan\nor price menus. Typically has chefs and cooks reporting to this\nposition.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Education Requirement\n- Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
Basic Management\nExperience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work\nexperience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast\nfood, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food\ncourts, etc.
