POSITION SUMMARY: Whatcom Community College - Dockside Cafe: Day shift Monday to Friday. . Is responsible for setup, servicing and break down of grill station.. Assists in the set up of the other food formats for lunch.. Responsible for baking for retail and catering.

. Supervises the food production for Simply To Go items and determines production. Upholds standard recipes and portions.

. Records food and refrigeration temps for HACCP guidelines.. Maintains organization and cleanliness of area.

. Conducts weekly cleaning of hood filters and cleaning fryer.. Participates in dishwashing as needed.

. Participates in stock receiving and storage.. Participates in weekly inventory counting.

. Assists with campus events and catering as needed.. Participates in required safety training sessions.

. Adheres to all **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Safety and Health procedures.. Assists with any other related duties as needed.

. May supervise other staff in the kitchen area.. Provides customer service as per **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Standards

QUALIFICATIONS AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (if applicable): REQUIREMENTS:. Should have a High School education or equivalent.

. Should have 3 years experience as a short order Grill cook in a restaurant or fast food kitchen environment

. Must have some catering experience.

. Must have a Washington State Food Handler's Card

Skills required:

. Must be organized and able to physically lift up to 30 lbs.

. Must clean as you go and keep a clean station.

. Must have good communication and customer service skills.

. Agility, dexterity and long periods of walking, standing, bending, carrying or lifting.

. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
