Profile

Lead, develop and motivate
staff.  Teach associates the importance of consistency in
preparation and presentation.  Be creative and up to date on new
concepts and trends.  Develop new menues, using skill
and knowledge in a variety of cuisine.  Assist in
maintaining food costs and inventory control.  Show practical
creativity to provide innovative entrees withle meeting profit
goals.Republic of Texas Steakhouse is the only 4 Diamond restaurant
in all of South Texas with a large volume of business and is located
on the 20th floor of the Omni Bayfront Hotel, overlooking the
ocean.
Requirements
Ideal candidates must have at
least 3 years previous culinary management experience
in a high volume, full service AAA kitchen, with a focus on
sanitation.  Candidates must have proven culinary skills in
seafood, steak, game, etc..  Must have excellent
oral/written/computer skills; must be able to lead, develop and
motivate staff.    Ideal candidate must be able to
work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays. 
Culinary
degree or
hotel management degree preferred.  Involved in the community, a
plus.
Must have a current Nueces County Food Handler
permit.
