**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. has an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Air Force Food Transformation Initiative (ATI). We are currently bidding on 7 locations across the US and hope to get the award of contract in early to late summer. The Air Force Food Transformation Initiative is designed to provide Airmen with improved food quality, variety and availability, while maintaining home station and war fighting feeding capabilities. The ATI will include expanded dining facility operating hours, increased food variety and quality, campus-style dining that allows Airmen on meal cards to eat at other non-appropriated fund food and beverage operations, and access to food kiosks.

The Executive Chef will support all culinary operations and training of all culinary staff and Airman as needed.

**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. will look to enhance the dining experience by possibly adding food delivery, serving stations such as salads, sandwiches and pizza, allowing customers to proceed directly to their station of choice and adding exhibition style cooking stations made-to-order menu items, nutritious menu entrees, which emphasizes healthy dining options.

Position Summary
Designs, supervises, coordinates and participates in activities of cooks and other kitchen personnel in a medium to large account. This position is recognized as the technical expert, teacher and trainer for other chefs and cooks within the account. Selects and develops recipes and other items for clients. Develops menu, implements and trains HACCP, oversees/purchases food, establishes production levels and inventory controls, interviews and hires new chefs, manages/controls food cost issues and offer solutions, may train other chefs outside account. May cook selected items, and plan or price menus. Typically has chefs and cooks reporting to this position.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
