**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.\nis seeking an experienced Chef Manager for a small rehab hospital on\nthe north side of Indianapolis, Indiana. This unit has nice a\ncafeteria with updated food stations and utilizes the Room Service\nstyle for patient meals. Unit also does a significant amount of\ncatering. The Chef Manager will be responsible for ordering,\ninventory and food production for retail food service, patient meal\nservice and catering. Selected candidate must have the flexibility to\nwork a schedule that will include some evenings and weekends as\nneeded.
Supervises cooks and oversees the\npreparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food. Estimates\nfood consumption and purchases food. May assist in cooking and\npreparing food as necessary. Responsible for maintaining kitchen and\nstorage facilities in sanitary condition. Responsible for cash\nmanagement. Interacts with client/customers on a regular basis. This\nposition is the leader for an account/unit chef/production group. This\nposition is in smaller accounts/units where there is not a Chef or\nFood Production Manager. Reports to GM.
Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or\nVocational School Degree
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
Basic\nFunctional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary\nservices including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services,\ninstitutional services, mall food courts, etc.
