There was a time when the restaurant at Jumer?s Continental Inn was considered by many to be one of the best dining spots in the city. Haitham Abdallah, better known as ?Chef Tony,? hopes changes made Jan. 1 to the breakfast and dinner menus will bring back many diners to the Homestead Room at what is now Best Western Prairie Inn, 300 S. Soangetaha Road. ?I was brought here to make some changes,? Chef Tony, who began work at the Homestead Room in October 2012, said. A number of Middle Eastern dishes have been added to the menu. A hummus plate, beef kebab, a beef kebab sandwich, chicken kebab and other items are now on the menu.
